As a general rule: No.

I got a AMD duron processor 1.3 ghz.
I already extended my DDR memory with 512 mb with the origenal its 1 gb
now but stil working slow. What can I do??

Tough call. Your board *MIGHT* be able to handle a faster Socket A
processor, possibly up to an AthlonXP 3200+ or a Sempron 2800+ or
something like that. Alternatively you might not have any meaningful
upgrade options for that board, tough to say for sure. Most likely
you're going to need to buy a new motherboard to go along with your
processor. Depending on what you're looking to spend you have a HUGE
number of options, though you might also need to purchase new memory,
power supply, video card or possibly some other components.

Long story short, more info is required to give you a more definitive
answer. First off, what motherboard do you have now, and secondly,
what sort of budget are you looking at?
