But take a look at the little piece of cable that should be soldered
on the vidcard first! If it's not there you should solder a new one on
the vidcard, if it has loose end you should solder it. There is an
image of how the card should look on the internet.

The wire from the heatsink to J6 is in place on the Matrox card. In next
tried an ATI Rage 128, 32 Meg card and it runs and will let me shut down
normally. I will be testing it a while longer before I decide to stay
with it.
