Default Dell express Vista upgrade program

Upgrade Vistas upgrade. The old 'feed it the old cd' and do a clean upgrade
process is gone.

However, there is a simple workaround. You install Vista and DO NOT
activate it.
Then you install Vista again.

It will see an acceptable OS (Vista) and reinstall itself.

Weird, huh.

Hi,

With my PC I got the chance to upgrade to Vista for around £10 or
whatever. I can't use it yet, because I have apps which just won't
work with it until they are upgraded. However, if I buy the Dell
edition, is this a product that will allow me to do a clean install of
the OS, or do I have to install the XP edition before installing
Vista? After upgrading from NT to 2000, I never *ever* want to go
down that route again!

Andrew.
