Get the 5900XT = $200 faster than 5700 Ultra but same price.


But slower than the non-XT 5900/128Meg for ~ $219.
Beware of both the XT and SE designations by the
board vendors. Both are inferior-performance versions
of the 5900 -- slower memory (700MHz vs 850MHz )
and/or slower GPU.

And sometimes the vendors are very deliberately
deceitful, such as Gainward and XFX who uses "5900"
to describe both the normal and inferior cards.

Look at the manufacturer's spec for that specific
manufacturer's full part-number before leaping !!!

Caveat Emptor ---- let the buyer beware.
