Default Notebook screen size

In short convenience and personal taste.

As I get older, bigger screens get nicer!!

Besides the weight, there's also things like:
Battery life
Size (can be hard to get a bag to hold it, sometimes a pain to find room
to unfold it)

I've seen an Acer or Asus unit that had a 20" display... Nice, but I
wouldn't want to lug it around all the time. Of course, I've also seen
the Dell that has a 12" display, but all the rest of the "big boy"
features. I don't think I'd be as productive on that... Always
trade-offs!

Hi, what's opinion about 17" ones, obviously they are heavier, what are
the reasons why I should or should not buy a 17" instead of a 15.4"?
Thanks a lot in advance. - Ken
