Does Window XP utilize all the 2GB memory. I am using old Abit mother
board with Athlon 1700, which I started with 512 Mb of memory and then
I added another stick of 512 Mb, I did not notice any difference. By
the way I use Adobe Premier and Photoshop.

Read the specs on your motherboard...
It can make a difference.

Just for an example, my motherboard has three DDR slots
and can use 266, 333 or 400 mhz RAM
but it can only use the 400mhz RAM if *two* slots are used...
if using all three slots, then only the 266 or 333 are supported.

Note: Because my mobo has such specs does not in any way imply
that yours would be similar...so be sure to read the manual!
