version(s) of the motherboard, and it's checking the hardware that is
present in the PC, to install the appropriate drivers during the
installation process, that were available with PBell PC's at the time
the CD was created or was supported by PBell. So if the configuration
has been changed, the restore disk won't work, but if you restore the
PC to its original state, the disk will work. Just my observation and
experiences with my PBell.

Very good point. I did not think of that. In that case a simple reload
of the new drivers for the new devices should fix the situation. Man I
am glad there are people here that think of these things. :-)
