Hello,

Today I played Aliens vs Predator (2010) Full Game.

I played the Marine campaigne and I was pleasently surprised about the
quality of this game !

I also played a little bit of the Alien campaigne.

The trick for this full game as well as for the demo is to lower the
graphics if you have a slightly older PC It's important that the game
runs smooth and fast this is important for all shooters !

This game is much much much better than I expected, and it's the first
"unreal engine based game" which I actually liked and am impressed with.

I already watched all levels on youtube before I started playing this game
so that was little spoiler but it was also kinda nice since now I knew where
to go to... I am quite amazed that this game still managed to scare me and
impress me even after I already saw it...

This game is pretty scary and pretty "screamy"... I am 30+ and for an older
guy like me to be scared like that is an accomplishment by itself !

I enjoyed this single player marine game a lot !

I give it a 10+ which means a 5 out of 5 rating !

Personally I do not understand why anybody would give this game a bad
rating... only fools would do that... this is the probably the best and most
scary shooter so far....

The missions for marine were long enough I think... ok maybe some people
might find this game a bit short... and maybe not that much replay value
though I doubt it... there is a chance I might play this game sometime...

I already played it on hard and it was pretty difficult... I had to restart
from checkpoints now and then... but I liked that... I was up for the
challenge...

I know one thing for sure... this is a game not to be missed ! Just the
single player marine experience is worth it !

Ok time for some spoilers and attention to details, what completely surpised
me or what I found cool was the following:

1. The flame thrower puts the aliens on fire... and the aliens light up and
even while they are burning they are trying to crawl over the floor and walk
over the floor, slower than normal but still pretty fast... and they scream
in pain... finally they explode ! This effect is totally awesome !

2. The little creatures are pretty cool as well.

3. The interaction with the devices/equipment and the animations for it are
awesome and totally imerse yourself into the game... there was one little
situation where I was carrieing a power cell and an alien came out I
couldn't let the powercell go which was kinda odd but at the same time it
was very coool... maybe I would have exploded if I dropped it whishfull
thinking

4. There are pretorian like creatures in there... they were hard to kill...
I won't spoilt it for you... but there is a trick to killing them
Actually two tricks... but you'll have to figure that out !

5. The cyborgs are ofcourse very cool, what totally surprised me was if
their heads are shot off... their bodies will continue fighting like nothing
happened... that's totally cool ! And I was like oh my god ! holy ****
and that kinda of thing... that's why I said pretty much the whole game lol.

6. Fighting the predator was pretty cool... it had all kinds of cool
voices... definetly to be experienced by yourself... He was difficult to
kill as well and was cool... especially when he lost his mask and came close
to me those graphics were pretty cool/awesome ! I played this game on
DX9 with 1024x786 and everything on low and still looked pretty good and
played good/fast.

I'll try to some it up for you:

While this game might not have many weapons, while it might not have many
alien types, while it might not have many predator types, while it may have
some short missions for aliens and possibly predator, while it may have a
bit monotonic survivor mode.... it makes up for it in the action department
! big time !

The alien ai in this game has surprised me and is very cool and enjoyable to
play against !

The aliens aren't dumb and just standing around like a sack of ****.... no
sir bob ! the actually walk around move around, run around, clamb the walls,
and come at you... and try to flank you and sneak up onto you, and jump
towards you and so forth... and that makes the game very good ! I promise !
Especially if you play it on hard like me... you will have a fight on
your hands I promise ! I played a **** load of RTCW and BF2 and I am
very good at those games like a rambo... and AVP is rambo style big time...
you gonna need rambo style ! This game is even more difficult than
RTCW and BF2 combined sometimes ! Pretty cool ! =D It's because of the
360 degree aliens !

Alien level was nice too, have to sneak up on soldiers especially in the
garage otherwise if you killing one... the others might kill you... so gotta
take em out one by one - is best !

I also love the voices in this game and all the chatter... especially from
the girl that "got the worm"

She had some awesome lines like:

"Reboot that mother****er !" LOL.

and

"Oh my guts not feeling so good" or something like that...

and

"How the hell did you find me ?"

The predator has some cool lines as well like:

"Over here"

"Over there"

"I am up here mother****er"

"Is that all you got mother****er"

Something like that...

Sometimes soldiers will escort you and they have cool lines as well like:

"Here they come"

"Over there"

"Don't let you guard down"

"Oh we focked now"

"Oh we so dead"

"We meat bags, game over man game over ! "

Something like that... a bit sissy though those last three of a special
soldier... I didn't like that soldier he was too negative but I still
escorted him... I guess that's what that level was about... escorting the
scared soldier ! It was cool/nice !

I am very glad I spent 15 GB's on downloading this game it was and definetly
is worth it !

If it's worth your money that's something that you will have to decide for
yourself...

If you already own Battlefield 2, Company of Hero's Tales of Valor,
Civilization 3 Conquest, then you have my permission to buy this game
Otherwise get those other three first, since those awesome as well, and very
replayable.

I don't know about the multiplayer part of Aliens vs Predator... I only
played the multiplayer demo it was kinda nice... but I would want some more
of I had to lay down some cash... the multiplayer demo wasn't completely
convincing and that's a shame... maybe they should release another
multiplayer demo with teamdeatch or survivor... just one level will do to
let people make up their minds... this is something that needs to be
explored further before I could recommend it...

Anyway I give this game 5 stars out of 5 stars for the marine missions !

That's the maximum score and it truely deserves it !

SPLENDID ACTION ALL THE WAY HO HO HO ! YEAH BABY ! =D

There was even a moment where I had to check my heart if I didn't have a
hart pounding or heat attack lol... this game is not recommended for people
with weakharts or other health issue's with the blood pressure !
