I use a Brother color laser and find it excellent but I have no B/W laser
at the moment. The most recent Consumer Reports buying guide ranks these
from high to low (prices vary all over the place)
Samsung M2835DW, HP LaserJet Pro M501dn, Brother HL-6300DW, Brother
HL-L2360DW, HP LaserJet Pro M402DN, Brother HL-L5200DW, Brother HL-6250DW,
Brother HL-6200DW, Brother... and on and on. As you can see, they are
really into Brother printers. I can't argue with that.

Your requirement for booklet printing is really a function of the driver
software and has nothing to do with the printer -- it will print what you
feed to it as long as it is in the correct format. Connectivity on some
printers is more flexible than on others in case that matters -- my Brother
is capable of USB, Ethernet, and Wireless in various combinations. I guess
some printers now also do BlueTooth.
