another cue is that when i used one of the MBR tools on the "ultimate
boot CD" to write zeros, etc , when i then went to the win2k CD to
install
it was saying "on 131 gig HD, there is 300gig...

well thats at least another idea
cause i downloaded the ultimate boot cd, burned it, and tried a few
tools, that i'd swear DID wipe the MBR, but maybe i need to 1st do
something in the bios
to make...
