I have a WD 40GB hard disk that I have been using to store all my user
documents, my OS is on another drive. I had a system crash due to CPU
failure and have been unable to access the WD...

Hey all,
I have just purchased a refurbished T40 which runs fine, however there
is a screw missing from the right hand side of the laptop (its one of
the longer ones that screws in from underneath)...

Computer shutting off mid operation

I've checked the capacitors and all seems well. Also checked all chips
on the board and none appear fried.
Unfortunatly I only have the single memory module so I cant swap it.
Any further suggestions?
