Cleaning an HP 1317 PSC internals

I have had this printer must be 7 years now and had a look at the
rollers pads etc internally and it looks like it could do with a clean,
bits of built up `paper fluff` as well.

On my black ink it is printing gray, installed a new black ink cartridge
and have unchecked grayscale. Cartridge is full of ink.

Anything else I can do to sort this?
