Price of Windows XP on a new Dell computer
I was referring to trying to find systems on both the small business side
and the home side that had similar specs. Same amount of ram, same cpu,
etc.. except one can be bought from the business...

Inspiron 8000 thermic problem
Not to overstate the obvious, make sure the laptop still has all it's feet.
If some of the feet have come off over time, the laptop will not have enough

What is max memory in a Vista e1405 ???
Vista can use more than 2gig, but according to the specs on that E1405
laptop itself reports that you can only install a max of 2gig in the laptop.
