Why are DDR2 SO-DIMMs so much cheaper than DDR SD-RAMs ?

I bought recently 2x1024 DDR2 SO-DIMMs RAM modules for my notebook over eBay.

They cost me around 15 Euros like in other auctions.

WinExplorer shows no "Used space/Free space" in properties for USB stick drive ? "Optimized for quick removal" error?

When I plug in my USB Stick I can access the drive, files and folders in WinExplorer as usual

Can I delete/create additional partitions on USB sticks?

When I bought the last USB stick the stick was pre-formatted by factory with a single FAT32 partition.

I wonder wether it is possible to

Should I format my USB stick with NTFS or FAT32 if using only with Win ?

Should I format my USB stick with FAT32 or NTFS if I plan to use it only on WinXP, Vista and Win2K
systems ?

I would prefer NTFS. Are there any downsides ?
