Hi, thank you, I'm using the Nero disk that came with the drive, and also

Just to update, the DVD drive plays CDs with SOUND, its only DVD's that
don't have the SOUND. I have the DIGITAL playback checked ON, and I'm using
the 40/80 (newer) IDE cable.

Hi, I put in a new Sony DVD RW drive as a second (slave) to my existing CD
RW drive on a Dimension 3000. Both drives don't have any sound cables going
from the drives.

Thank you everyone for all the ideas. I partioned it first with the maximum
allowed (about 132gb) using the original XP, then installed all the updates
and partioned what was left (about 104gb)...

Hi, I want to install a HD of about the size of 250gb on a Diemsion 3000.
When I boot the computer from the XP Pro CD its setup only shows about
131gb. Could some one tell me what should I do to...
