I wrote a bootable 4 gb USB stick with Easeus Part. Mngr. some weeks ago.
Set the Asus bios (P7H55D-M EVO) to boot from "Removable Dev.". It failed
to boot.

Just wrote another bootable 4 gb USB...

Did you strip the D865GVHZ down to only PS, mobo, cpu, and 1 stick of mem? Did it POST?

It's gone, now, but I was running 2 IDE HD's and 1 SATA on my D865GVHZ 6 months ago.

So, it could be either of:

1.) Infant mortality of the PS.
2.) Fried mobo.
