Lucky you. Mycomputer doesn't even show the external drive. So I'm
still stuck without being able to retrieve my data from a perfectly
good drive.

I did a really stupid thing. When my PC went weird, I bought a new
one and failed to back up my important files. Well, actually, I think
I did.. I just can't find where I put them. I gave the old PC...
