memory for noob

The lower the cas latency the faster the data travels. If it is set to low,
errors start to occur. You should be able to go to Kingstons website and
find the proper timings. Going from 3 to 2.5...

What speed RAM do I buy with a 1066mhz Core 2 Duo CPU?

Remember with a bios flash that board may be able to support 1066 mhz ram.
Best way to find out is call Asus. They have a pretty good customer support
service.

PC6400 is certainly the minimum that you would want to put in. It runs at
800mhz. There is ram that runs at 1066(PC 8500), and it would let your
computer scream along as fast as its supposed...

According to the memory chart, there is no ram listed that has the specs
your looking for so the answer would be no high density. Also the chart is
old because so is the motherboard

Careful. Check out those ram speeds. Most are 533 or 667 mhz memory. Not to

amd and the most pci slots I've seen on any motherboard starting with socket
939 or intel equivalents is 3. What they do...
