AMD 2400 XP query

Have installed AMD 2400XP on GA7N400 Pro board. 2 X 256 MB DDR 2100.

Easytune4 shows 133 system bus, 15 X multiplier giving 1996.98 MHz.

Is this typical speed for processor ?

Increasing system bus locks up PC.

Thanks

Hiya,

Seems you have it set right. I am currently running an XP2400 on an older
board and to combat system lockup during overclock I have had to increase
voltage to the CPU. It runs default at 1.65v and I found running at 1.75
allows me to oc with no stability issues. As always, a bump at a time, watch
temps and have fun explaining that silly grin.

Regards,

Garry.

It's the default (15x133).

Increasing system bus locks up PC.

Could be cpu needs more vcore, but it could also very likely be your
133MHz rated PC2100 ram. Might try running the ram out of sync to find out
which it is.
