Aero 7+ (80mm) vs. Aero 7 Lite

Hey all,

Does anyone know of any reviews which compare the larger 80 mm (80 x
80 x 70 mm fan, 80 x 80 x 51 mm heat sink) Aero 7+ with the Aero 7
Lite?

I know that CoolTechZone and DataFuse compared them but I asked the
DataFuse person and he said he thought it was indeed the smaller one.
The CoolTechZone person wasn't sure but I suspect it is the smaller
one.

Bjorn3D did use the larger one I think but his was flawed (not
polished) so his results too are a bit uncertain.

It does appear that the are some size differences in the two heat
sinks. The Lite is supposed to be 60 x 80 x 45 mm although it is
apparently longer and narrower then the 7+. Looking at the Bjorn3D
page, it appears the top part of the 7+ is 80x80 but the bottom part
is not.

For this reason, and perhaps most importantly the difference in fin
thickness and distance, I'm included to believe the Lite might be
better, even if the comparisons we do have are unreliable. Not so sure
about the theory on Bjorn of airflow but I suspect that the copper
fins might be too thin to properly conduct heat. Of course, this is
another theory but is based on something I read elsewhere. Also, the
Lite is a bit cheaper still even if not so much anymore and I don't
like extremely heavy heat sinks. But I would still like to seem some
reliable reviews as they will be useful, especially in confusing
people elsewhere.

P.S. I don't care how much better the Vantec Aeroflow is, it's too
expensive. Same goes for the SLK-900. And no, the fact that you can
get them for XX from somewhere listed on pricewatch is of no use to
me.
