How do I get Nero to "delete" files off a CDR or RW?

How do I get Nero to "delete" files off a CDR or RW? I realize the file will still be there taking up space, just out of the TOC. But, that allows me to put an updated/diff. file of the same name in its place, right? I can't figure out how to do it. The only thing I see is the "remove deleted files" option that will apparently do that if the files are no longer on the HD. I want it to do it regardless. Is there any way? Also, can you delete files off a CDRW and get the space back, or do you have to wipe the whole disk and rewrite it for that? If CDR is not finished, you just insert it, select continue session and you get a list of all files. Then you click on a file you want to delete and press delete key. It will dissapear from the window. Then you hit burn and Nero will delete them from TOC . If you want to update a file with same name, you enable option to replace files in compilation and if you have problems also check "always" instead "file or date changed" then drag new file into CDR window so old one will be deleted and new one written. That should work - it does for me in Nero. Also have checked "add new file into compilation" and UNchecked "Remove deleted files from compilation", since this is totally another function. |
