DOS?

Help?

DOS software does not run properly.

WHen you hit Shirt-Alt-Enter, Windows should take you to a full screen
DOS mode.

I have two problems on an Evo

(1) Somes up in text mode using just the central 640x480 pixels of
the screen.
(2) When DOS uses graphics then DOS hangs at once and that is it.

Does anyone have experience of this and know if it is fixable or
whether it si a function of the Evo not implementing DOS correctly

Probably more like Microsoft haven't enabled a full version of DOS in
whichever variant of Windows you're trying to use.

What version are you using ?

Bear in mind that in newer 'doze, the DOS mode is emulated, it isn't a
proper DOS environment.

Something that might actually work better for you is Freedos or DOSbox
(the latter of which is often recommended for games with compatibility
problems)

DOS?

Probably a typo. Should most likely read "shift" and not "shirt".
