Does anyone know where I can get memory chips for out-dated systems? Judy, The memory is available from Crucial, at the very least. (The link below may be split over a couple of lines.) http://www.crucial.com/store/listpar...uctline=Compaq 2BPresario.&mfr=Compaq&cat=RAM&model=Presario+CDS+ 992.&submit=Go Also, you could just go to http://www. crucial.com and go through the sequences of selecting the brand and model of the machine. Yours is listed, as it turns out :) The memory must be installed in pairs, according to the site, and it sells for US $49.99 per 'stick' or module. - -- Ron n1zhi -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA2egoa9fyRcf4bIYRAhmxAKCTNEZbXKwmOPDyn7/Qsl4r8kqmtQCfXaGy toRaWpZRf9AwLjDGsZ3if/c= =zI0K -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
