**** why would 2 TB be shingled? Look we had 4 TB drives for ages before
helium, shingles and other advances. Even the slim 2 cm thick drives should
manage 2 TB without that crap.

2TB is a single shingled platter :-)

Think how light that drive would be.

Cottony softness. And less filling, at only 40MB/sec.
