Notebook Sound
 

My new GW 400 SP Plus notebook won't play a sound
during Windows startup and shutdown. The sound functions
are all enabled, and both sounds do work when trying them
in Control Panel. This system came with SP1 already installed.
I had a similar quirk with my 700X desktop. Installing SP1
solved the unreliable startup/shutdown sound problem.
