special HP buttons on keyboard not responding
I have an HP Compaq d330 desktop computer. It comes with a keyboard
with special buttons above the function keys used to launch email, browser, search engine, etc. It was working fine before my hard drive crashed, but after I tried to reinstall everything I can't get it to work. Any ideas? |

See if the Compaq "Easy Access Button" (EAB) software is installed and
operating. Look for EABServr.exe and similar. Big Crunch wrote: I have an HP Compaq d330 desktop computer. on my HP laptop it runs the "hp update" program in the systray .
At startup yesterday ( I hadn't used in a a month or so), I was notified that the HP keys software (for vista) was updated. If you have such an option in CP - turn it on and let the pc find the update for you. BTW I did download but not install, if you need the info let me know and I can get it off the laptop ( not at the house right now) "News" wrote in message ...
