A woman has said that her life was saved by her pink iPhone which
stopped a bullet during the Las Vegas massacre on Sunday night.

She showed her phone to a taxi driver who drove her home after the
shooting and took the picture above of the damaged device.
What are bump stocks and why were they used in the Las Vegas shootings?

The phone is unusable, but the woman, who was at the Route 91 Festival
was unharmed.

Finally a good use for a smartphone,

A bump stock is an Infernal device that should be banned and OUTLAWED.
Used to convert a semi auto assault rifle into a near fully automatic
firearm. Used by stupid gun lovers in the USA'

As opposed to "stupid gun lovers" elsewhere in the world who can legally buy
fully automatic weapons ;-)

Not a gun hater or lover myself, not even a hunter, but as someone said ages
ago, "Guns don't kill people; people kill people." Guns just make it easier
than using a knife, baseball bat, or throwing rocks from a 32nd floor hotel
room. As long as there are wackos in the world, there will be mass murders.
