Laptop 2100 / Headphones
I have a compaq laptop which has a problem. I have a cheap headphones
to listen to my Dell at work. The headphones work fine. If I put in a DVD from the Teaching Company on the laptop it works fine. However when I plug in the headphones, I only get the right hand side sound. I tried various setting in the control panel/Sound/Speakers and can't get it to work. Before I go out and buy a newer expensive headphones, I wondering if I am missing something. |

Are you absolutely certain that you normally get both channels in both the speakers and the headphones normally? Check the settings in the Audio Tab/Volume button for balance and muting of all playback channels. Q |
