Original Intel MCH heatsink supply sources

Hi,

Are you aware of supply sources in order to buy the original MCH
heatsink for an Intel D850EMV2 motherboard? The MCH cooling was
customized by a previous owner in order to use a watercooling system
and, of course, the original MCH heatsink has been lost. It seems this
kind of MCH heatsink was also used by Intel on other models (e.g. D845).

Thanks,

Emeric

Many,
Do a search for 478 heatsink,OEM and such.

$10 US

For around $30 US,you can purchase a decent fan and h\s.Local cpu shop can
get oem for you,but cheaper online. You may need the retainer too if they
changed that.

Go to pricewatch.com

No, I wasn't looking for the CPU heatsink, but for a MCH (northbridge in
Intel parlance) heatsink. And OEM doesn't necessarily fit. Hence my
question. Indeed, I have recovered a MCH heatsink on a dead ASUS P4-T
motherboard and, although the heatsink itself fits the MCH (obviously
since it's the same than on the D850EMV2), the mounting bracket is
totally different and can't be used as is.

Thanks for your answer anyway.
