No RPM given?

Looking at this model of Seagate 4TB drive, the ST4000DM005, and I can't
find the RPM for it anywhere. Is this a new thing with drive
manufacturers, not revealing the drive speed?

I have one of those drives, and S.M.A.R.T. reports a nominal speed of
5980rpm.

I think it's a relatively new thing with Seagate for their "Desktop" and
"BarraCuda" models. BUT many, many years ago the reviewer of a then-new
model of Rolls-Royce car lamented that they had not published a
horsepower rating, and when he had called or written to ask, the reply
was: "Adequate."

It's in the INFORMATION SECTION displayed by

smartctl -a /dev/daX

on my FreeNAS machine -- along with the Serial Number, etc.
