adding iSCSI to existing SAN
I am sure this is stupid question.
I have an existing Clarrion CX500 SAN. I would like to add iSCSI capabilities to the storage network. What do I need? I know it's a gateway of some sort but I can't find any part numbers or even what a device would be called. Thanks, V |

Thanks, V You can use third party gateway products (sanrad and left hand networks come to mind) like you mentioned or use functionality in a switch. Most major switch vendors have a blade that will do iSCSI on it. ~F |

If you're looking for a specific EMC device for your needs, you're probably thinking of their NAS Gateway devices: http://www.emc.com/products/networki...eway/index.jsp The NS500G for instance. -- Riemer Palstra Amsterdam, The Netherlands http://www.palstra.com/ |
