Water vs. Air Cooling

From my experience top-drawer air cooling can match water cooling. I'm
running a SLK900 with a duct from a case side mounted 92mm fan and I'm
getting lower temps than my previous water cooled set up. Air cooling can be
noisy but so can water, depends on the fans you use.

Is there really much cooling performance differences between
water and air cooling? I was considering a Thermalright
SLK-900-A air solution vs. a Corsair Hydrocool...or possibly
an Innovatek water cooler. What do you think?

TIA
