using SAS SSD - what's best config?
I notice with SAS backplanes, you typically have a cage for 6 drives on one
side, and two 4-lane cables on the other. So it is sharing bandwith. Maybe suffices for spinning rust, but would this be a problem with SSD? Or should one instead go for a huge drive, such as Seagate Nytro 15 TB? they say "Scaling capacity and performance without breaking the bank" |
