Blue Line Talent is looking for a mid to senior level software-centric
Test engineer with expertise in testing storage products. This is a
direct hire opportunity in the Broomfield area. The Test Engineer
will join an exciting start-up environment in a newly established
location. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to guide and
shape the test function and practices.

Position Title: Sr Test Engineer - Storage Products

Work Location: Broomfield/Flatirons area, CO

The Employer: Exciting startup in NAS technology.

Description:
• Test state-of-the-art storage virtualization platform.
• Determine user test cases from product requirements documents.
• Execute test cases, isolate duplication scenarios through further
testing, document problems using defect tracking system
• Help developer unit test the fix, then verify fix in production
build.
• Design and implement automated test cases.
• Recreate customer configurations and design test cases to reproduce
field problems.

Experience Profile:
• BS degree in Computer Science or an applicable engineering subject
and 4+ years of applicable experience
• Experience with storage subsystems such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI,
SAS, SATA, RAID, Snapshot, Replication, NAS, SAN, etc.
• Experience with Unit-Test, Functional-Test, System Integration-Test,
and Performance Test.
• Test experience through the full product life cycle.

Helpful/Preferred:
• Software development experience in C, Java
• Experience setting up test automation
• Developing protocol
• Experience supporting and maintaining test infrastructure tools
• Experience participating in product development.
• Leadership experience
• Experience in a new and growing test function
