What the world "needs": a PCChips quality laptop. IME with laptops, you
get what you pay for... if you're lucky.

Sounds like what Fry's is selling under their GQ house brand except with a
1GHz CPU (1200+ ?) and WinXP Home instead of Lindows. The only hidden gotcha
is that battery life is spec'ed at 1-1/2 hours with an 8 cell battery and a
4 cell battery is standard so you won't be straying far from an outlet.
