400SP Plus and Profile 4X
 

I have owned a gateway solo 9100 for the last 5 years and it has been a very
reliable platform. Looking for any opinions from owners of either the 400SP Plus
and the Profile 4X all in one.

Hi there;

My wife has a Profile 4 with the 17 inch monitor. She just loves it!
I added an external 60 Gig Firewire drive for her and it works great too.

My son bought the 400SP Plus a few months ago, and he loves it.
A few weeks my wife got one, too (when it was $799). It performs
very well, the 15" screen is very bright, and I love the card readers
built into the left side. It's so easy to insert a digital camera CF card
and instantly copy the pictures to the hard drive. It's an excellent
value for the money (even at $999).
