Quiet fans and PSUs - any recommendations? by
Dave
As my CPU fan seems to be giving up and the whine is getting very annoying I
thought it's about time I spent a bit of cash and silenced the beast.
Any recommendations for reasonably cheap quiet fans for use with an AthlonXP
and quiet PSUs?
Cheers.
Dave.

Sale Of Goods Act by

I recently purchased a laser printer for my small business. After using it
for 10 days it stopped working and displayed an error message. I contacted
the supplier and was passed onto the printer manufacturer.
The manufacturer insisted that the printer needed to be registered (by fax)
before it...

I need to buy a scanner for OCR purposes by
Interesting Ian
Hi,
I'm after a scanner which is good for ocr'ing books and
documents. I don't think I'll want to use it for anything else. Does
anyone have any recommendations? I have a preference for buying a cheap
one, but which does its job competently, and for buying somewhere over the
Net if...

Dell Dimension 5000 - anyone else with a BTX machine? by
loz
Just wanted to say how quiet my new Dimension 5000 is.
It isn't quite silent, but compared to previous dells and your average
desktop, this is something of a revelation.
Its down to the new BTX form factor from what I understand. Dell claim 40%
quieter. I think it is even more than that.
Tucked...

eBuyer.co.uk have trebled some of their prices in the space of amonth. by
Paul Butterfield
For example check out item 63967. A computer case that cost me £6.99 a
month ago (December 2004) now costs: $17.99.
I believe they read the reviews on their web site and if a product gets
good feed back they up the price.
What would be the e-mail address of ebuy.co.uk to question them...

Overclockers? by
H Phillips
Has anyone here had an order fulfilled by Overclockers recently?
I haven't seen any bad press online (maybe I haven't been looking in
the right places), but haven't been able to get a response from them
in any way - fax/phone/email.
Anyone know if they're still trading?
