UK trade fairs for system builders by
Chris Nowak
I've just got back from an expensive curiousity trip to Hannover Cbit. It
did not really help me as I was not prepared to buy kit by the container
load, so does anyone know of a UK trade fair useful to the small volume
system builder?

Sending a (large) monitor back to Aria by
[email protected]
I bought a (very heavy) 22" monitor from Aria in November and now I
need to return it to Aria -- I've applied for a RMA and received the
confirmation but it seems I will have to organise shipping it back
myself.
I'm thinking Initial City Link might be a good choice since they should
be quite cheap...

online now), so I wonder when I will actually receive the...

What are peoples' experiences with ebuyer? by
Interesting Ian
I was thinking of purchasing from ebuyer. I'm not interested in after sales
service, and I'm not interested in my goods arriving on time. However I
*do* want the *correct* goods delivered undamaged. So what is ebuyer like
in this respect?
Another thing. I actually ordered a dvd writer last...

Purchased an AeroCool CoolPanel - has USB, Firewire, Card Reader and the
usual fan controllers on it. Pretty comprehensive device, but the only
drawback is that the connections are via "normal" sockets that have to be
run through your case from the back. (Which is OK as my case has a number...

Avoid PIXMANIA / FotoVista! by
Simon Zerafa
Hi Guys,
If anyone is ever tempted to buy from PixMania / FotoVista, please resist
the temptation. Learn from my mistake!
Firstly they ship items from France, not the UK. If this information is
present on their web site, it's hidden from mortal eyes.
This causes huge issues when returning large...
