Which agps is my old pc supporting by
Richard[_8_]
Hi,
I have a RAGE PRO TURBO AGP (ATI card) working on my old PC with WIN98. It
is saying type of bus AGP 1x.
If I look in the bios at startup, there is a mention of AGP 2x = disabled.
AGP aperture = 64M.
Does that mean that my mother board supports AGP 2x but the ATI card is only
AGP 1x.?

3360x1050 Support by
Matt[_4_]
I have been searching for this answer to no avail. I just got a couple
1680x1050 monitors. I would like to set them to horizontal stretch at
3360x1050 resolution. In CCC I can only set the resolution to
2560x1024. I am using a 1950xt Pro. The only answers I have found so
far are that ATI doesn't...

ATI Tray Tools or ATI Hotkeys in Vista 64 by
GaryP
I have never, regardless of Vista 64 or XP Pro, gotten ATI Hotkeys to
do a damn thing. I enable them, I set keys up for the two functions I
give a crap about Gamma increase, Gamma decrease, and there is 0
effect. In XP I always just used Tray Tools. Now, after jumping
through hoops to get the Low...

What's this on X1950GT? by
DerekBaker
Received a Sapphire X1950GT AGP yesterday; on the back of the card was
what looked like a square plaster (band-aid) on a square chip?
What was it?
Thanks

'Cheapest' AGP card with H.264 hardware decode by
Andrew Rossmann
What is the most basic (cheapest) ATI-based AGP card that has H.264
decoding in hardware? I'm trying to update an old computer (don't want
to do a full replacement yet), and am looking at what is available. It
currently has a 9550 in it.
Looking at ATI's site, it looks like possibly the X1300...

Yorkfield is a Ray-Trace monster
By Theo Valich in Leipzig: Wednesday 22 August 2007, 13:56
CHIPZILLA SHOWED A DEMONSTRATION of Ray-Tracer on its latest

us.
Who knows, maybe in a year CPUs might be good for graphics again.

Sapphire X1950GT very loud fan by
sl
Hi
I just installed a new sapphire (last generation) X1950GT 256MB on a fresh
vista professional. I installed catalyst 7.8 and I was very surprised to see
that the fan speed was not controlled and decreased when not in full load.
So the fan is always at 100%. I don't use 3D games at all. Is...

X1950XT array of dots (new build) by
Drone
I have an X1950XT on WinXP
When the comp posts, I get a large cell (it looks like an old dos mouse
'pointer') of purple on an otherwise ok screen.
When it boots into WinXP, I get an array of tiny dots that cover the entire
screen.
The rows are about 1cm apart, and the columns are about 8 cm...

My system has been unstable the last couple of weeks. There were lockups

imagining my hard drive (Acronis True Image) and others.
What evidence there was...

I bought a Viewsonic 22" wide lcd monitor. My current video card

I am not a hard-core gamer, just would like a card that will work with

Radeon 9800 Pro AIW crashing on games with newest driver. by
Matt Ion
So after months of surviving on an old (5.8 or something) driver and old

finally grabbed the latest driver and MMC for this thing.
Seems to work alright, MMC is certainly faster to start up, although it
now has other sorts of...
