Question about USB by Buzz Hodges
I have a circa 1998 PB with one USB port. I'm guessing that it is USB 1.1 I'd like to buy one of those tiny plug-in 64 MB memory drives. The ad says it is USB 2.0 Will it work with my USB on my PB? Thanks. Buzz

USB ports by Jim McQuillan
I have a PB Pulsar C300 which is nearly 5 years old and is running well except that I have trouble with devices that connect to the USB ports. Each device will install OK and usually run OK for a while and then sometimes they no longer show on the computer. most times they will not reinstall at...

Groaning fan sound on startup - PB650 by TonyG
My machine has a groaning fan sound when it is cold. It goes away maybe after 5 minutes, sometimes after 30 minutes or more. It has been doing this for over a year, so I don't think it's a critical problem, just really, really annoying. I tend to want to kick it to shut it up, which can't be good...

Can anyone tell me what the original list price was for the PB Legend 4610? Just curious because a friend just lost one in a fire, and we were wondering what it cost back in the day. Thanks in advance.

Win 2000 Driver for Aztech PCI 288Q3DS Sound Card??? by TonyG
Has anyone successfully installed the ubiquitous Aztech PCI 288Q3DS sound card in Windows 2000? I am currently getting away with using the Trident Microsystems 4DWave NX PCI drivers for Win 2000, but they are barely tolerable and don't support all the features of the sound card. PB were good enough...

You can get the manual he http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/manual/mnu/spt_mnu_detail.php?UID=259& NAME=MS-6156BX However, I don't see any information indicating a USB header. Moreover, the pinout for the connector on the back panel, shown on page 2-36, strikes me as odd. It shows: Pin...
