I have a Microtek V310 scanner. If the scanner is not turned on when the computer boots, the computer won't find it when it does get turned on. I've tried System Properties/Device Manager/Refresh, but that doesn't work. Is there a program around that will let the computer recognize the scanner...

Hi all Just got a New Scan Elite 5400 from Jessops, when I first connected the scanner WIN XP detected it and installed the drivers OK, but the green LED keeps flashing, it will not initialize, is their anyway to perform a reset on this scanner.

Has anyone using this scanner had a problem with getting a pastel blue or pink band of color on the left side of the scan when doing color scans/copies? TIA Jerry

Anyone has any opinions about these scanners? are they any good/bad thanks
