Right angled USB cables by
Jim Howes
I am looking for a manufacturer or supplier of USB cables (A to B, aka device
cable) with right-angled connectors, to USB 2.0 cable specifications. (Reason
being lack of room in a particular device configuration for a straight cable)
Any ideas?

50 Way Mini-IDC ribbon cable? by
NickH
I have acquired a compact desktop PC which has a slim CDROM drive. The
drive has a connector at the back which is the same width as a standard
IDE connector, but it has 50 pins. It is also smaller in the other
direction. It is the only connector at the back and as far as I have
been able to find...

Surfbaud - gone for good? by
TheMongKey
Does anyone know if Surfbaud have quit the battery business? I need quite a
few for work laptops and am very happy with the one I got for my own machine
at home, but the online store has disappeared and what remains on the
website is cryptic to say the least.

Well - Its finally happened to me too!! (Ebuyer again!) by
Rufus Stone
After several months of sitting here smug and wondering what all the
fuss was about, I've finally been Ebuyer-f*cked. My order has been
showing 'pick in progress' for three days now and a couple of the
items have now gone out of stock, although the stock was plentiful
when payment was taken from my...

EPCbuyer or Infotech? by
SW
Any experiences, good or bad? I've not used either EPCBuyer or
Infotechshop before, can't find many comments about them, and don't want
a horrible E-Buyer experience. (I could actually save £20 on my order
if I shopped with E-Buyer but it's just not worth it, in case something
goes wrong.)

I'm after a laptop. Needs wireless networking, 512 megs of RAM, DVD / CDRW
drive and to be cheap. Preferably a tosh. Anyone suggest somewhere selling
new machines or refurbs etc. at a good price?

orcalogic-kingston.co.uk? Any good by
Lordy
Trying to get some prices for RDRAM for a mate who came by a very
cheap(legit!) workstation.
I tried kingston and initially went to Orcalogic-kingston.co.uk
who have 2x256 at £90(new I presume!) which is not bad.
Anyone had dealings with them? A few posts indicate that they deliver and
are...

Tonight's homework... by
Linker3000
I've just stumbled across bigpockets.co.uk, so your homework for tonight is:
1) State your experiences, good or bad, with this company.
2) If you have dealt with eBuyer, state how better, similar or worse
bigpockets is to them.
Thanks

Thumbs up for SVP by
Geoffrey
I ordered a couple of hundred CDRs and 100 DVDRs together with some
ink cartridges (on a buy 1 get on free offer) yesterday lunchtime.
They arrived lunchtime today but with 25 of the DVDrs missing.
Within a couple of hours of emailing them they had apologised,
arranged for the despatch of the...
