Scanning small negatives by
Perico de los Palotes
Hi, all
Here is exactly the opposite question: I have a bunch of old 110-fomat
negatives. Any ideas of how to scan them? Has anyone heard of some adapter
ot something to hold them? I have a Nikkon Coolscan V, great for 35 mm.
Thanks for any input.

Panorama with Nikonscan by
Happy Traveler
(cross-posted to alt.comp.periphs.scanners)
After years with Viewscan, I decided to try and run my Nikon Coolscan 5000
on Nikon's own Nikonscan software. So far so good, except for one problem: I
can't figure out how to scan several frames with identical settings --
essential for stitching a...

Canon LiDE 25 & LiDE 70 by
Talal Itani
My old HP scanner finally quit all the way. So I went to Newegg, and I
found two really inexpensive scanners: Canon LiDE 25 is for $44.77, Canon
LiDE 70 is for $89.88. I will not be scanning any photographs, since I have
a digital camera. Yet every once in a while I scan a document. These...

I have a Mustek 1200 ED scanner. My operating system is WindowsME. I
used to use this scanner with this operating system but have not had it
installed in a couple of years. Even though the scanner is only meant
to work with Windows 95 and 98, it did work with WindowsME.
Recently I tried to...

Handheld scanner to scan documents? by
Freddie
I work in a cramped area at a local courthouse. I have to scan
documents such as real estate deeds, etc., which are either on
microfilm or in large books which cannot be taken apart.
Is there such a thing as a small hand-held scanner that is small but
you can just "roll" or "rub" down the page...

scanning large negatives by

I would like to gather opinions on the most appropriate film scanner to

Epson Perfection V100 Photo by
Gary Dingle
If anyone has one of these units, I would be interested to know:
1. If scanning a square e.g. CD cover, is the resulting scan not
actually square (a few mms wider) - this is happening to me all the
time
2. I frequently scan a LP record cover in 4 sections, then join
together. If there are any...

Incorrect Epson scanner identification by
Felix Karpfen
I purchased an Epson 3590 photo-scanner when I started
on my photo-scanning project (about 15 months ago) and use it routinely,
in conjunction with VueScan in a Linux O/S. More often than not, VueScan
identifies the scanner correctly and everything works great.
But every now and then VueScan...

This software seems to be impossible to find - I've mislaid the disk

Canon 4200F on Linux by
Marc[_2_]
Hi,
I have a Canon 4200F scanner and I can't get it to work in Linux.
Asking in several Linux newsgroups, gave no results,
other than 'buy a new scanner' or don't ask the same question in different
groups.
So here again my question:
did anyone get this scanner to work in Linux ?
