Hi, I'm having an Intel Pentium 4 630 CPU and running Linux (AMD64) and FreeBSD (AMD64) OS. Does anybody know how to scale clock frequency of this CPU, using EIST, not using Pentium 4 Clock Modulation (which is available in the Pentium 4s with no EIST capability). Or could anybody point me to Intel...

D975XBX Boot Device Priority by Fidelis K
Even when I selected "Hard Disk Drive" as "Boot Device Priority", the BIOS shows "CD/DVD-ROM" above "Hard Disk Drive" in the "Boot Device Priority" section. Why is that? I'm using the latest BIOS version.

Why are prices going up? by Clark
Anyone know why prices on processors seem to be going up? They came down for a while, but seem to have reversed in the last couple of weeks. Any idea when they may be coming back down-maybe after Christmas? Thanks, Clark

Bad Axe PCI-e Power Connector by Fidelis K
My Intel Bad Axe motherboard has an onboard 12v 1x4 PCI-e power connector, which powers PCI-e cards. I, of course, connected a power cable to it. Now, my X1900GT card has a 2x3 PCI-e power connector. Should I also connect a power cable to it???
