Willy Kreim
Hi,
Anyone with an USB 2.0 to IDE/ATAPI enclosure based on the ALI5161

unrecognizable chipset (yet still the ali results are within the USB
2.0 "high" speed, so it's not...

How to transfer data b/wn 2 computers using the network card? by
Martin Lynch
I have a laptop with XP and a desktop with Win2K.
Is it possible to transfer data from the desktop
to the laptop by connecting a cord between the
two network cards?
I do not have a CD-RW, nor do I have a serial cable,
so I think using the network cards is my only option?

If one implements RAID 0 with an adapter card
(such as ones offered by Promise Technology),
can normal defrag utilities be used to defrag the
2 hard disks which comprise the "striped" RAID
system?
