Switches at Simmsaver/32 ??? by
Markus Lesch
Hello,
I own two old Ram-Cards called "Simmsaver/32". The card combines two
EDO-Ram-modules to one. At the cards are 4 DIP-switches to set the correct
speed of the modules (60,70,80ns). But I don't know the settings for these
switches. Any hints?
Markus

Can you mix PC133 & PC100 RAM together? by
Ablang
I looked up the info for my motherboard, a SOYO SY-V6BE+ and it says it
only takes PC100 RAM (even the online manual says this). Does this mean it
won't run PC133 RAM, and can I mix 133 & 100 RAM on this board?
Who has experience doing this on their boards?

Anti-static floor mats? Cheap or alternative? by
LRW
The office I work in is a static nightmare. Everything you touch: ZAP!
I'm pretty certain it's responsible for one PC's mobo going out.
But anti-static floor/chair mats are so expensive!
Is there an alternative to floor mats? Like, a carpet spray or
humidifyer or something?
If anti-static mats...

Help - questions on PCI-X and PCI Express by
L
Hi,
I have a couple of questions on the PCI-X and PCI Express, and would
appreciate it if some one could help.
Most 1U servers let people install up to 2 PCI cards. For some reason, we
need to install 3 PCI cards in a 1U server, which normaly is very hard.
Since we just need 1 HDD, so we have...
