Dabs...updating email address has been broken for a week by
Ian McNeill
Has anyone else been able to change their registered email address with
dabs ?
I've tried about 10 times this last week, and each time I hit "submit" I
get a response to the effect that there has been an internal error and
that there is no need to contact them as the system has...

Dabs broken? by
Dr Bombcrater
Has anyone been able to place an order with Dabs in the past couple of
hours?
I've just tried five times to put an order in, and each time the site
insists there's nothing in the item basket - yet when I click on the basket,
the stuff I've selected is still there. Used both IE and Mozilla,...

Saitek gamepads from uk computer vendors... by
Lee J. Moore
Pricewatch turns up so /few/ companies. Dabs alone stock the Saitek P2500
for £18-ish...but I don't want to order from Dabs. I visited Komplett to
find the P3000 seriously overpriced at £40 (it's only £30 at PCWorld and
Amazon) and that's without the P&P. But I'm not interested in a P3000
anyway...

Snowdon Computers have a stirling reputation.
I thought he was Welsh?
As I recall Stirling is cold and hilly. I could see how that reputation
might apply to Wales.

Ebuyer will strive to may you pay for it, without providing it. by
Paul Hopwood
Ok, I've often been one of the first to take the p*ss when someone
posts praise on here simply because a supplier came up with the goods.
Anyone can do that... right?
Well, evidently ebuyer can't even manage that simple task!
I've read similar tales of woe all too often in this forum but...

WTD: laptop by
f u z
Hi,
Anyone know of good deals for laptops (new). Not looking for anything
flashy, just something that will enable me to use word processing and access
the Internet. I'm willing to pay from £500 to £800, but the cheaper the
better.
Thanks

Scan Computers very poor service by
Pete Evans
Just wanted to alert people here to yet more poor service from Scan
Computers
They may seem to have a lot of bargains but my experience of them is very
bad.
They refuse to refund any carriage in either direction when faulty goods are
returned. Their terms and conditions allow for a refund but...

Group dead? by
Nigel Sandell
This group used to be a very good place to find out what was going wrong
with online vendors as well as a great place to pick up hints and tips, I
realise that there were a few trolls spoiling the place and since it has
been very quiet. Has everyone stopped using this group, is there nothing...

Warning Agency Sales Ltd by
Aosmosis
These people continue to spam me despite asking several times to be removed
from their database.
I have warned them about the new spam legislation. It would be interesting
to see if they take any notice.
I have only bought from them once and their aftersales service was
atrocious. They are very...

Dabs - how do I get them to respond to my problem? by
John Geddes
Ordered a supposedly in-stock item last Wednesday.
Emailed by Dabs the next day to say "The parcel has physically left
dabs.com."
It was supposedly sent by Parecelforce, for next-day delivery. Dabs
followed up with an email to confirm they have taken the money from my
Credit Card.
Six days later,...

Dabs - damn! by
Anton Gÿsen
I placed an item for a B-grade stock item, and then cancelled it when I
realised I was getting it delivered to the wrong address! However, the
item isn't back in the B-grade stock list! How long will it be before I
can re-order it, assuming someone else hasn't grabbed it in the mean time?

Who do SVP use for shipping? by
Microstar
I'm thinking of putting an order into SVP. Have ordered from them in
the past, but can't remember who they use for shipping large items. Is
it CityLink? (I now don't order from any company that uses CityLink
because of horrendous problems in the past).
I know I could e-mail SVP and ask them - but...

Save your money, do not do any business with this bunch.
They send faulty goods then charge to test them, this is a disgrace.
Admit that the goods are faulty not use faulty goods to increase
income.
