Hi, now that i'm (finally) going to make the upgrade to Socket 939, i decided i'll keep my AGP video card (GF 6800GT) for the time being. So, i'm looking for an AGP only S939 mainboard(don`t want that dual Sata2 thingy), which will allow me to overclock as much out of that 3700+ San Diego i'm...

Currently I'm running an unlocked 2500 on an NF7-S v.2 at 3200+ speed at 1.825v. I'd like to try an XP-M 2400 or 2500 to try an squeeze a couple hundred or so Mhz out of it. I'm using Hyperx PC3200 and an SLK900a HS/92mm Panaflo combo. Which processor should I be looking at - the 35w or 45w? ...

Harddrive noise and heat by billybronco
Hi, Are there any harddrives that are known for being quiet? And any that are known for operating at a low(er) temperature, and any that are preferably both?. I have 2 seagate barracuda drives in my box and they are the noisiest components in there. After the box has been on a while, they make a...

Just curious... by Augustus
Most people here seem to have great success o/c the Barton 2500....I'm just wondering how many of you out there have had Bartons that just won't allow themselves to be pushed far even with a good m/b, RAM, all the tweaks, upped voltages, and extra cooling applied. Mine seems to be one those....I've...

2000+ become 2600+ :) by Sunbow
I had my XP2000+ runing at just over 2GHz till my psu overloaded. the 2000+ chip seems to remain stable well above stock settings. if you have a decent hsf and psu why not see how for it will go? your ram will probably be the breaking point as it will eventually run as DDR400. "Mauro Pintus"...

Adding RAM to NF7-S by Bust Fresh
I currently have 2X256MB PC3500 Corsair XMS installed on my NF7-S. I want to upgrade to 1GB RAM total. I only want to buy 1 additional 512MB module. Will 2X256 + 512 work in this config? I know I can fit 3 on there, but will there be any conflicts? Thanks

Could this be a CPU bug? by pass
Hello. My computer is having this chronic problem which I believe is hardware related. I've narrowed it down to either the CPU (Athlon Thunderbird 850 socket A) or the motherboard ( Asus A7V133-VM, VIA KM133 chipset) The problem happens at random, but is more commonly 'provoked' when there are...
