I had to clear my CMOS and now my primary IDE channel 45 gig 7200 rpm IBM hard drive is running in PIO mode. I know for a fact that it was at some point running in UDMA mode. When I go into the bios, the settings for the channel are to auto detect and are not forcing PIO mode. I'm running win2k...

Need to turn off Hyperthreading to have Premiere run stable. Hangs often with HT enabled runs fine with HT off! Anyone else experience this? Is it the IS7 bios or Premiere? or is this a chicken and egg situation? Symptoms: with HT capturing DV video hangs in about a minute

Record audio with Abit NF7-S by Méro
Can we directly record what we heard with Abit NF7-S or there is a protection ? I've tryed to use "Mix" to encode what a speaker say in my program but it's not a good song so I think there is perhaps a protection.

I have a KD7 Mobo with the built in AC97 sound system. It has been working fine with the standard stereo out to a single pair of speakers. I recently picked up a small 5.1 speaker system that uses the digital optical port. Stereo works fine through the fiber optics, but no other speakers...
