Multipath tool for Linux by
[email protected]
Hi,
Are there any multipath (load-balancing and fail over) tools for
RedHat? I would like to use Hitachi storage via Fibre Channel using 2+
paths. Therefore, I need a software for multipath. I do not want to use
HDS' HDLM (Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager) because of its supporting
issues.
Thanks and...

Hi Group,
I bought a 100GB Hard Drive and installed it in my computer as a slave drive

The PC took a long time in booting up, as if it was trying to recognize the

Is EMC's CAS Centera considered "permanent data"? by
RobertDavid
My EMC rep couldn't answer this question... EMC's Centera is supposed
to replace optical disk ("permanent data"), but an optical disks life
is 35 years plus. Is the Centera considered "permanent data"?
What are existing Centera customers supposed to do when EMC eventually
EOL's and stops...

Hello,
Navisphere is showing a hosts as unmanaged due to host agent not
reacheable. For some odd reason, the host agent seems to be resolving

(S)ATA robustness by
Zak
I'm wondering how much difference there exists between SATA and, say
FCAL drives when it comes to robustness.
I'm talking drives that will be more than 20% busy with seeks, always
spinning, in news servers. I've seen a too-high rate on FCAL disks used
as JBOD - about half the drives developing bad...
